Why is the G7th Performance 3 capo right for me?
The G7th Performance 3 capo is the culmination of years of design, modification, and continuous improvement, and most importantly, it was created by listening to guitarists and their opinions on what a capo should do. By coupling our exclusive tension control system with the innovative ART (Adaptive Radius Technology) mechanism, G7th Performance 3 capos truly come close to perfection.

ART Adaptive Technology
The ART (Adaptive Radius Technology) system allows the G7th Performance 3 capo to adapt to the actual curvature of the guitar's strings and fretboard, applying consistent and completely even pressure across all strings, setting a new standard for in-tune and buzz-free use. It provides maximum tuning stability with the lowest possible tension in any position, adapting to necks of any profile.

Unique Tension Control
Squeeze to fasten, squeeze to release: the G7th Performance 3 capo gives you complete and intuitive control over the pressure you apply to the strings. Whether it's an acoustic or electric guitar, you can have secure control and keep your guitar in tune.

Easy to use
Designed for one-handed use, suitable for hands of any size. With a little practice, it can be moved almost as quickly as a spring-loaded capo, but without the need for frequent retuning.

Versatile
Stores easily behind the nut to keep it within reach or even on the headstock. Perfect for any 6-string acoustic, electric, or hybrid guitar with nylon strings.

Award-winning quality
All G7th capos are covered by a lifetime manufacturer's warranty.

Can I use the same G7th capo on both acoustic and electric guitars?
Yes, you can use any of our 6-string steel-string capos on both acoustic and electric guitars.

Are G7th capos for acoustic and electric guitars also suitable for classical guitars?
The vast majority of classical guitars have a wide, flat fretboard that requires a specific capo.
G7th produces a dedicated classical guitar capo in each of its series.

How do I attach a replacement rubber pad to my G7th capo?
First, make sure you have removed any excess glue and rubber from the capo.
Then simply attach the new one in place using a cyanoacrylate-based super glue.

What is the best solution for a 12-string guitar?
For almost all 12-string guitars, we recommend the Newport 12-string capo or the Heritage 12-string capo, both featuring our brand new compensated pad.

Can you make a single custom capo?
Sorry, unfortunately this is not possible.
The tooling costs to produce each model amount to tens of thousands of dollars, making them suitable only for mass production.

My guitar has a nitrocellulose finish: can I use a G7th capo without damaging it?
A nitrocellulose finish is usually quite durable.
However, danger can arise when nitrocellulose comes into contact with additives or chemicals that may be used in the processing of rubber components.
Small residues of these substances over time could soften and mark the finish.
For our capos, we use high-quality silicone rubber, and all components are always cleaned before assembly and packaging.
Therefore, we do not expect you to have any problems with the rubber components used on our capos.
In any case, we advise you not to leave the capo on the guitar when not in use.
It doesn't help the guitar and it's not good for the capo either.

Where are G7th capos made?
All our capos are manufactured to the highest quality in our factories in China.
We have long-standing relationships with our manufacturers and visit them regularly.
Have you ever wondered why there are no cheap copies of Performance capos?
Because our friction mechanism is extremely difficult to replicate, and no one has managed to copy it.
This is a testament to our manufacturing standards and quality level.

Is my G7th capo covered by a manufacturer's warranty?
Yes, a lifetime warranty.
