Pitchblack X BL chromatic guitar pedal tuner by KORG is the most advanced solution for tuning on stage and in the studio. The adjustable brightness, high-visibility LED Meter display allows for precise pitch control and adjustment with only ±0.1 cent tolerance. Pitchblack X BL is also equipped with True Bypass and Ultra Buffer, circuits that prevent tonal degradation of the input signal, ideal for interfacing the tuner in setups with very complex amplifiers and effects.

TRUE BYPASS and ULTRA BUFFER

Pitchblack X BL not only features a TRUE BYPASS circuit that leaves the input sound unaltered, but now also includes an ULTRA BUFFER. Most electric guitars use passive pickups with high impedance output. Using cables longer than 6 meters results in tonal degradation, usually in the high frequencies; this phenomenon tends to worsen with even longer cables. The BUFFER boosts the signal over long cables to prevent this tonal alteration, keeping the sound clear and clean even when the pedal is off. The ULTRA BUFFER improves sound quality in bypass mode, maintaining audio quality even when using long cables to connect to the tuner or installing the tuner in a complex effects pedalboard. On Pitchblack X BL, you can select either TRUE or ULTRA BUFFER according to your preferences or needs.

LED Meter with adjustable brightness

On Pitchblack X BL , a larger display and a greater number of LEDs in the Meter have been introduced to achieve better visibility performance. The Bright Mode (brightness adjustment) can be set to 2 levels, to ensure optimal visibility even in critical operating conditions such as on brightly lit stages, or outdoors.

Precision tuning

Pitchblack X BL allows fast and precise tuning with a tolerance of only 0.1 cents in Strobe mode; this makes it the ideal instrument for professional Live or Recording situations where tuning is a fundamental parameter where approximations or inaccuracies are not allowed.

METER with 4 Display Modes

On the Meter Display, you can choose between 4 types of display according to personal needs: REGULAR, STROBE, HALF STROBE, which indicate pitch variations by the direction and fluctuation of the METER, to distinguish even the slightest pitch differences. MIRROR, which when tuning the instrument displays two LEDs on the left and right that cross towards the center.

JUST-RIGHT TUNING Function

Pitchblack X BL has a new "JUST-RIGHT TUNING" display function, which flashes the triangular LEDs on both sides when tuning is correct, a function that eliminates any stress for the musician!

Robust cabinet and battery power

Pitchblack X BL is housed in a robust aluminum cabinet finished with a scratch-resistant coating. It runs on 9V batteries, and is perfect for musicians who do not use an effects pedalboard; if necessary, it can also be powered via an AC adapter (optional).
