With Nord Organ 3, you have the most suitable instrument for emulating the most iconic organ timbres and playing techniques. Thanks to the dual manual with typical 61-key Waterfall keyboards with three contacts, 4 groups of Drawbars, Vibrato/Chorus and percussions like on the original electromagnetic models, you can perform organ repertoires ranging from Jazz to Rock with faithful reproduction of the most characteristic sounds and effects such as the Rotary Speaker and not only for Tonewheel organs but also for the best-known Vintage Transistor models such as VOX and Farfisa and even the pipe organ.

Nord is pleased to present Nord Organ 3, the latest instrument in the Organ series, now available with a series of important new implementations in timbre, design, and performance. Nord Organ 3 features a completely redesigned physical modeling sound generator dedicated to various types of organ sounds, plus a redesigned version of the Rotary Speaker with an even more natural and realistic timbre.

Expanded Effects

Six different reverb algorithms are now available, including a brand new Spring Reverb (spring reverb) and options: Booth, Room, Stage, Hall, and Cathedral. The new Pre-Rotary function allows the reverb to be placed before the Rotary Speaker. While the Delay includes a new Analog Mode and feedback filters: Feedback Filters, for greater processing possibilities.

New Modulation Effects

Nord Organ 3 also implements an assortment of modulation effects, including Ring Mod, Tremolo, Phaser, Flanger, and Chorus, adding new creative possibilities to the instrument.

B3 Organ

• On Nord Organ 3, the Vintage Tonewheel B3 organ model is further refined and improved in terms of details and executive nuances
• The Vibrato Scanner/Chorus has also been further optimized to reproduce the peculiar character of this complex modulation.

Transistor Organs

• The modeling of the VOX and Farfisa Transistor models has been further improved and optimized

The Transistor Vox and Farfisa organ models have been further improved, accurately capturing the peculiar characteristics of the original Tone Generators and filters, including the complex tonal interaction generated by the combination of stops.

Pipe Organs

• Two new and distinct emulative models with great dynamic impact have been implemented

Two different Pipe Organ models are available. Pipe 1 is a pure organ timbre type with few harmonics. Pipe 2 is a simulation of a classic pipe organ and includes the Detune mode obtained by activating the Vibrato/Chorus.

Bass Models

• The "Synth Bass" option based on a classic Pedal Synth is introduced

Rotary speaker and Amp Modeling

• Completely renewed Rotary Speaker emulation
• Multiple options for virtual microphone placement

A completely new approach is introduced to recreate the typical sound produced by the Rotary Speaker, amplifier, and speakers, with the ability to choose different virtual microphone positions. Three types of Drive (saturation) can be selected, reproducing the real characteristics of the overdrive produced by the Rotary Speaker with many nuances and variations. The rotor speed and acceleration percentage can be customized, while the Sound menu offers a wide range of additional options that allow for even more detailed sound shaping.
