IMPACT GX CONTROLLER KEYBOARD

Impact GX49 and GX61 are expressive and dynamic instruments, designed for composing and playing, integrating with the system you use for your computer music. The highly efficient interface, designed without unnecessary complexity, is a great innovation introduced by Nektar.

The GX series features a 49-key / 4-octave (GX49) or 61-key / 5-octave (GX61) keyboard, pitch bend wheel, modulation wheel, and a footswitch connector. Two multi-colored buttons allow you to shift the keyboard range 3 octaves down or 4 octaves up, while the LED color changes to indicate these variations. The GX series' equipment allows for an efficient workflow.

Another 2 dedicated transpose buttons can be used to shift the range up to 12 semitones up or down. These buttons can be easily reassigned and used to change the Global MIDI Channel or send Program messages. Additionally, a potentiometer can be assigned to manage any MIDI parameter, with the default control being volume.

Seamless integration with many popular software makes using the GX series easy and enjoyable. The controller becomes part of your system and allows you to compose, play, and perform without constantly using the mouse.

TRANSPORT CONTROLS...AND MORE!

Eight buttons designed for DAW control are at the heart of the GX series. Functions such as transport controls or track navigation are quite common: constantly having to use the mouse can be detrimental to your workflow efficiency and the creative development of your inspiration. Thanks to the software integration, a hallmark of Nektar products, you can manage transport controls and several other DAW functions directly from the controller using these eight buttons.

The buttons can also be used to transmit MIDI messages to any MIDI software not directly supported by Nektar controllers. You can associate a main MIDI message and a secondary one for each of seven buttons, giving you a total of 14 assignments.

The interaction between hardware and software saves you a lot of setup work. A large number of features are immediately available after installation... difficult to find on other controllers in this category.

Functions such as transport control with go to and set locators, track navigation, volume control, opening windows, and patch selection are immediately available.
