The MT 15 is the PRS tube lunchbox amp head, signature of Mark Tremonti. With 15W of power and two channels, the MT 15 head is powered by JJ 5881 power tubes, which provide a big and full sound, with massive bass without losing definition. The clean channel features a push/pull boost on the Treble knob, which adds a bit of overdrive for old-school crunch.

The MT 15 is the high-power two-channel amplifier, with balanced aggression and articulation. Mark Tremonti's signature amplifier features JJ 5881 power tubes, and is characterized by a wide and bold sound, allowing for heavy rhythm playing as well as solo sounds. This head was designed with "heavy" style musicians in mind, but it has a lot to offer guitarists of all genres. The MT 15 features five gain stages before the Master, for full and lush distortion. The distorted channel provides big, full-bodied sounds, with massive and tight bass, but the notes never lose definition. The clean channel is bright, great for fingerstyle, with or without a pick. The clean channel also features a push/pull Boost control on the Treble knob, which adds a bit of overdrive for old-school crunch. Regardless of the settings, the MT 15 remains balanced across the spectrum. Additional features include an effects loop and adjustable bias via the rear panel. Despite its 15 watts, the MT 15 sounds like a 50-watt head, which is why it's possible to halve the wattage to 7 watts.
