MOTU 8PRE USB 16x12 USB2.0 AUDIO INTERFACE

The 8pre 16x12 USB rack audio interface transforms your laptop (PC or Mac) into a 24-bit 96kHz studio workstation, with 8 microphone inputs, 8-channel ADAT optical digital In/Out, and MIDI In/Out.

Additionally, when not connected to a computer, the 8pre can function as an eight-channel A/D converter, fulfilling another very interesting function. The front panel features level meters, 48V Phantom power, a 20dB pad button, and a trim knob for all eight microphone inputs.

The two ADAT optical banks provide 8 channels of digital In/Out for high-definition recording at 88.2 or 96kHz. The main output can be connected directly to studio monitors thanks to its dedicated volume control.

The 8pre can be integrated with another module via the optical ADAT output, thus adding 8 more inputs. If you already own a MOTU with optical technology, the 8pre is the ideal way to add 8 inputs to your recording system.
