MOTU 8M AVB THUNDERBOLT AUDIO INTERFACE THUNDERBOLT / AVB / USB WITH 8 MICROPHONE PREAMPS AND DSP


The 8M Thunderbolt packs the best dynamic range on the market into a 48-channel, 12-bus console format.


With 50 audio I/O channels (24 in and 26 out), the 8M is equipped with a USB 2.0 input also compatible with USB 3.0.


This interface is equipped with 8 microphone preamps with individual gain, pad and 48V phantom power, as well as V-Limit protection against overload (adding 9dB of headroom above digital zero).


The powerful 32-bit DSP allows for mixing and effects, including analog EQ models, vintage compressors and classic reverb.


The 8M Thunderbolt can easily handle different In and Out patches, or split different inputs to multiple destinations. Among the most interesting features is the possibility of using the 8M in standalone mode as a mixer and control, thanks to the app for iPad, iPhone, tablet, smartphone and laptop.


Furthermore, it is possible to connect a second MOTU AVB interface (1248, 8M, 16A) simply with an Ethernet cable, or add other I/Os via MOTU AVB Switch (sold separately).


This makes it possible to create a true network for audio care, limiting latency and without fear of using long cables, obtaining the best connections between units and computers.


Thanks to the quality of the Motu 8M Thunderbolt, it is possible to get the best from recording to final mastering.
