The Theremini is Moog Music's new version of the Theremin, the first electronic musical instrument in history. This re-interpretation includes the implementation of new advanced features that make this instrument, until now certainly not among the easiest to play, accessible to everyone.The Theremini allows you to play each note in a single discrete musical scale, and not in a continuous space as with the original model, thanks to total control over the pitch that can be adjusted and deactivated. The ability to control the pitch also becomes very useful for teaching and educational purposes for those approaching this type of instrument for the first time.The integrated preset section allows you to select from 32 wavetable synthesis sounds, store and save a selected scale, set or recall a selected range of notes for performance, and specify settings for patches for the included stereo delay.On the back of the instrument, which features a particular futuristic design, there is also a speaker that makes the Theremini completely self-contained. There are also two line audio outputs, a CV pitch output with selectable range and a mini USB port for MIDI connectivity.
