CARBON8 is an experimental 8-voice synthesizer that introduces radically new ways to create, explore, and perform cutting-edge sounds.
Its sound engine, which doubles the complexity of the ARGON8 and COBALT8 series, is based on two oscillators capable of generating complex Core waveforms (algorithms and wavetables), along with powerful XCore cross-modulation algorithms, advanced filter technology, and exciting new LFO capabilities. In addition, the CARBON8M features an acclaimed arpeggiator, sequencer, and internal effects highly praised by Modal users.
This extraordinary synthesizer is aimed at sound designers, producers, and performers who want to escape conventional sounds and explore innovative textures for their musical productions.
