Such an instrument can be imitated, but the distinctive character of the original will always stand out, while the passage of time can only improve it.

Twenty years ago, the microKORG was introduced: a portable synthesizer, also battery-powered, with ready-to-use sounds and a versatile Vocoder. The instrument proved ideal for many musical genres, revolutionizing the way many artists played and performed. This compact synthesizer is credited with introducing many musicians who didn't even play keyboards to the world of sound synthesis, giving rise to a new way of making music that is now taken for granted: a small keyboard simply placed on a larger one on stage, designed to be used by enthusiasts and professionals alike, found in the most diverse environments from recording studios to hotel rooms.

microKORG, originally introduced in 2002, has remained a very popular instrument for two decades. Many artists have utilized its timbral possibilities in numerous successful songs, and it continues to be a favorite choice among musicians and producers on stage and in the studio.
