The Kimandu bass also features custom Markbass electronics, which are simple, intuitive, and effective even with extreme settings.

The controls are VOLUME/VOLUME/TONE (with an active/passive selector on Tone), which allows for incredible pickup blending capability compared to a normal Blend control, and with active BASS/MID/TREBLE... so you won't have boomy lows or shrill highs. The frequency values have been chosen to offer a wide range of usable tones with any setting. The TONE control (also working in passive mode) has been defined by Richard as the "G-Spot" for its precise effectiveness that allows switching from soft and warm tones to bright and hi-fi tones, all in a uniquely "sensual" way.
