M196 A/B Box is an MXR pedal that allows you to send an instrument signal to two separate outputs, with a Thru output for connecting a tuner or for sending the unaltered signal to an amplifier.

OVERVIEW OF THE MXR M196 A/B BOX

The MXR M196 A/B Box allows you to "split" your instrument's signal into two and send it to two separate outputs, to be used alternately or simultaneously with two different signal chains. The Thru output allows you to connect a tuner or send the unaltered signal to an amplifier or another device. The A/B Box features a rugged die-cast enclosure with high-quality jacks and switches.

CONTROLS OF THE MXR M196 A/B BOX

Output A: sends the instrument signal to amplifier A;
Output B: sends the instrument signal to amplifier B;
Thru: to connect an amplifier or send the unaltered signal to an amplifier;
Input: receives the instrument signal;
Footswitch A: activates Output A;
Footswitch B: activates Output B.
