It has full-size piano keys and a velocity-sensitive keyboard action, allowing for the interpretation of performance nuances and the artist's expression. It is compatible with iOS applications that support the CoreMIDI standard, including GarageBand, numerous drum machines, synths, and virtual instruments. Mobile Keys 49 does not require additional hardware to function, it connects directly to the device's dock and is bus-powered, so it does not need additional power sources via mains or batteries. It is equipped with additional controls for pitch bend and modulation wheel, as well as a pair of 1/4" TRS jack inputs for sustain and expression pedals.
