LAUNCHPAD PRO MKIII is the most powerful matrix MIDI controller in the Novation catalog, offering the best integration with Ableton Live (clip launching, transport controls, mixer control) and Logic Pro's Live Loops. It integrates a 4-track polyphonic 8-note per track step sequencer, 64 velocity-sensitive RGB pads with polyphonic aftertouch, 42 backlit tactile buttons, Dynamic, Chord, and Scale modes, and the convenient Capture MIDI function. The power of Launchpad Pro

The standalone four-track sequencer with eight polyphonic notes and 32 steps keeps synth-played tracks constantly evolving. Virtual instruments can be sequenced, and patterns can be instantly recorded to Clips in Ableton Live. Alternatively, you can connect your favorite hardware to play patterns via MIDI: the Launchpad Pro integrates optimally. Probability, mutation, sync rate, and play order allow patterns to be transformed in real time. Patterns can be chained and assigned to scenes to create complete compositions.

Great freedom of expression

The velocity and pressure-sensitive pads are now larger and more responsive than ever, making them perfect for playing grooves and launching clips. Scale mode locks the pads to a specific musical key, ensuring absolute precision in the notes played. Chord mode is a particularly inspiring tool for creating musical harmonies.

Customizing the Launchpad Pro

The Custom Modes transform the Launchpad Pro into a practical control surface for any MIDI-compatible software or hardware, allowing you to customize the ideal controller for your live setup and perform with all your instruments as desired. Simply drag and drop widgets in Novation Components to configure the layout, and then store the configurations as one of the eight custom modes. Once the computer is disconnected, if desired, you can switch between modes to expressively and creatively control any MIDI device.

Usable even without a computer

Novation Launchpad Pro is the center of musical creativity, with or without the aid of a computer. You can connect the Launchpad Pro to a fully hardware system using the MIDI In, Out, and Out 2/Thru ports via 3.5mm connectors. In addition, the Easy Start launch tool should not be overlooked, which adapts the setup process to your needs, allowing you to start producing music as quickly as possible.

Improved integration with Logic Pro

Launchpad Pro is the most integrated grid controller for Logic Pro, offering exclusive access to Logic's Live Loops. By activating cells directly from the grid, you can nimbly navigate projects and dedicate yourself to production and performance. With Note and Chord modes, you can quickly create and record directly onto cells, then leverage transport controls like mute, solo, record arm, and stop tracks. Dedicated controls allow you to delete and duplicate cells, as well as quantize recorded notes in a cell, all with a few simple buttons and without ever having to touch the mouse.

Unquantized Recording (from firmware 1.2)

The Unquantized Recording function allows you to record in micro-steps to achieve off-grid rhythms and perform/record sequences with greater expressiveness than ever before. We find the new Legacy mode and controls for the trigger threshold.
