Novation Launchkey Mini 25 is a compact USB MIDI controller for DAW software featuring a 2-octave mini synth-action keyboard, eight 360° encoders, and 16 velocity-sensitive pads with polyphonic aftertouch for finger drumming and clip launching. It includes creative Chord and Scale generation modes and an arpeggiator with a step editor. High-visibility OLED display.

Improved DAW Integration  

Launchkey immediately supports all popular DAW software, with seamless and customizable integration for: Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason Studios, Reaper, FL Studios, and Ardour. With this software, you get a hardware-based workflow that gives you full control over transport functions, timeline navigation, mixing and EQ, clip launching, and effect and instrument parameters. And when using Ableton Live's Session View or Logic's Live Loops, the 16 drum pads also act as clip launch buttons in Launchpad style, with RGB backlighting perfectly matching what you see on screen.   

More Powerful Creative Tools  

Launchkey Mini 25's creative tools are integrated into the hardware itself – so they work the same way in your DAW, with hardware synthesizers, or with mobile devices. Scale modes now allow you to lock your keyboard to one of 30 different scales, so you can eliminate wrong notes or map everything only to white keys. Fixed Chord mode lets you play a full chord from a single key; the new Chord Map mode, however, goes further and allows you to create emotionally charged progressions from the Launchkey pads. And in this latest iteration of our beloved arpeggiator, it's easier than ever to distort and mutate sequences for endless inspiration.   

Extremely Responsive and Expressive FSR Pads

For finger drumming, Launchkey now features our patented FSR drum pads, which are velocity-sensitive and include polyphonic aftertouch. Unlike traditional pads, each has a unique radial sensor that increases sensitivity and improves consistency for even more precise performance. Additionally, they can also be set to trigger chords or individual notes with polyphonic aftertouch.  

New Custom Modes  

Launchkey controls are not limited by default assignments; simply load the free Components software in your browser and configure them to work exactly as you wish, with software or hardware. Up to four custom mappings can be stored for both the pads and encoders of the Launchkey and recalled instantly from the hardware to send your chosen notes, MIDI CCs, or program changes.  

Not just computers with Launchkey MK4 

Thanks to the 3.5mm mini-jack MIDI output of the Launchkey Mini 25, it's easy to connect hardware synthesizers via an adapter without needing a DAW. Along with Components and custom mappings, you can control all important features directly from the keyboard. Furthermore, Launchkey requires no additional drivers, so it is fully compatible with countless apps used to create music on iPhone and iPad – including the free Novation Launchpad app.

The Launchkey Mini 25 keyboard controller with pads includes everything you need to start creating music right away. The included DAW, Ableton Live 12 Lite, allows you to record and perform with up to eight MIDI or audio tracks, in addition to a range of instruments, effects, creative tools, and works perfectly with Launchkey. Plus, you also get a selection of additional professional-grade effects and sounds from Novation and Focusrite.
