ARP ODYSSEY is Korg's faithful reissue of this glorious 1970s analog synthesizer, created in close collaboration with David Friend, one of the founders of ARP. The instrument is slightly more compact than the original model, made with high-quality materials, and with particular attention to the high-operability sliders and the Slim keyboard. The original circuitry of the three different editions of this instrument: Rev 1, 2, and 3, has been meticulously reconstructed, with all their peculiarities, particularly regarding the different filter characteristics and portamento. Furthermore, limited editions of the aesthetic variants Rev 1 and Rev 2 are also re-proposed, identical in finish to the originals. Thanks to current technology, new features not available in vintage models have also been implemented, such as the DRIVE function, or MIDI and USB ports. The instrument also includes a dedicated semi-rigid case and patch cables.
