QSC k12.2 is an active loudspeaker with a peak power of 2000W (RMS: 1800W for low frequencies, 225W for high frequencies), featuring a 12’’ woofer, covering a frequency range from 45Hz to 20kHz. Max SPL 132dB (peak), 126dB (continuous). Equipped with three audio inputs with separate volume controls: one Mic/Line on XLR/F TRS ¼’’ connector, one Hi-Z/Line on XLR/F TRS ¼’’ connector, and one 3.5mm mini-jack. 2 XLR/M outputs for direct out of inputs A and B, and one XLR/M post-gain mix out for cascade connections. The speaker weighs 17.7KG and can be pole-mounted, floor-mounted, or suspended using the integrated M10 nuts. Dimensions: 602×356×350mm.

Powerful DSP with advanced technology

For any amplification need, the QSC K12.2 speaker offers a refined design with a 2000 Watt peak power amplifier, a 12’’ woofer, and a 1.4’’ tweeter.

The cooling fan has been designed to be as quiet as possible, making the K12.2 perfect even in situations where background noise needs to be controlled and minimized.

Specific dynamic processes have also been developed and applied to the DSP to protect the driver from damage and prevent the speaker from distorting during use.

Ease of use and saving functions

You can select different EQ curves, for example Live, Dance, or Monitor, from the extensive list of factory presets already loaded in the DSP for immediate and quick EQ correction.

You can also create, save, and recall scenes that can contain user settings for equalization, delay, and input configuration.

Audio inputs and integrated three-channel mixer

QSC K12.2 offers 2 balanced combo inputs that accept both XLR/F and ¼’’ TRS jacks, and a 3.5mm mini-jack input for connecting smartphones, MP3 players, or computers, and all three inputs have separate volume controls. Via the display, you can select the correct pre-amplification for microphone or line signals, and also via the display, you can select the necessary pre-amplification for a high-impedance instrument rather than a line signal for the second channel.

You can therefore connect a microphone, a guitar, and perhaps an MP3 with a backing track, all three directly to the inputs on the rear panel, and adjust their levels from the integrated mixer, making the QSC K12.2 practical and effective for small live performance situations.

Both inputs are connected respectively to a pair of XLR/M outputs that allow us to cascade connections with other devices.

Via the Mix Out output, we can connect other speakers to the QSC K12.2 and control our output volume via the gain out parameter.

A security cover (K-LOC) can be installed to prevent accidental or unauthorized setting changes.

The Directivity Matched Transition^® (DMT) technology matches the woofer's coverage angle with the horn pattern to ensure a uniform response throughout the venue where it is installed. Intrinsic Correction™ is also used to ensure uniform power response across the entire listening area. The result is an extremely accurate loudspeaker that performs well in a wide range of spaces regardless of their acoustics. Thanks to its robust cabinet, QSC K12.2 can be used in main PA applications or as a floor monitor. The dual pole cups allow for a zero or 7.5-degree downward tilt when used on a stand. This allows for more uniform coverage in the listening area and fewer problems due to reflections from the rear wall. M10 nuts are integrated for suspension applications. A mounting accessory is also available for permanent installation on walls and ceilings or for attachment to a truss system.

This product, like all others, comes with a 2-year warranty upon purchase.

If registered on the QSC parent company portal, an additional 4 years of warranty are added, bringing the total warranty coverage for the product to 6 years.
