<h1 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Radial Engineering's JDI</strong> is a compact <strong>passive DI BOX</strong> that uses a Jensen audio transformer, adapting impedance and balancing your instruments' audio signal.</h1><p><strong><img align="" height="" src="/filer/sharing/1765465002/11091/" title="Radial JDI is a compact passive DI BOX that uses a Jensen audio transformer, adapting impedance and balancing your instruments' audio signal." width=""></strong></p><h2><strong>Radial JDI Controls and Connections</strong></h2><ul style="text-align: justify;">    <li><strong>-15 dB PAD</strong>: reduces input sensitivity by 15 dB</li>    <li><strong>MERGE</strong>: turns the input and thru jacks into a passive mixer to sum stereo signals to mono.</li>    <li><strong>INPUT</strong>: ¼” input jack for instruments</li>    <li><strong>THRU</strong>: the ¼” thru jack passes the instrument signal to the amplifier. When the MERGE function is active, it becomes an input.</li>    <li><strong>OUTPUT XLR</strong>: 150 Ohm balanced microphone-level output.</li>    <li><strong>REV 180°</strong>: polarity inversion.</li>    <li><strong>GROUND</strong>: disconnects pin 1 at the XLR output to reduce hum caused by ground loops</li>    <li><strong>SPEAKER</strong>: by connecting your speaker output to JDI, the speaker button engages a -30 dB PAD and a 12” cone emulation filter that allows you to connect the JDI to the input of a mixer in parallel</li></ul><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Radial JDI</strong> is a <strong>passive direct box</strong> designed to handle extreme signal levels without any distortion. JDI uses the Jensen JT-DB-EPC audio transformer which, thanks to the integrated analog Bessel filter, with its typical warm and soft sound, reproduces the natural tone of the instrument free of artifacts. Thanks to its passive design without power, it converts the signal impedance from high to low and handles signal balancing. This makes JDI particularly useful in eliminating hum caused by ground loops.
