The result of several months of collaboration with Drew Shirley of the Grammy Award-winning rock band Switchfoot, the BELLE STARR is a low/mid gain pedal perfect for maintaining the integrity of your instrument's sound.

To achieve his distinctive overdriven sound, Drew uses very small, low-wattage tube amplifiers, set with a high input gain level – the BELLE STARR pedal was designed to precisely recreate these tones.

Intentionally not designed as a high-gain overdrive, the BELLE STARR features a low/mid gain circuit characterized by a smooth and natural breakup, typical of small non-negative feedback amplifiers.

To make the overdrive sound as natural and amp-like as possible, Jackson Audio has incorporated a unique clipping circuit that uses MOSFET transistors instead of traditional silicon diodes.

Eight months spent fine-tuning the BELLE STARR using every amplifier variation – Fender, Marshall, Vox, and of course, Jackson units – resulted in a pedal capable of always performing at its best, regardless of the amplifier it's paired with.

BELLE STARR runs on 9-18V power, features True Bypass switching, and boasts a small footprint with top-mounted connections for easy integration into any setup!
