The AEG is a compact acoustic-electric guitar with a comfortable neck that has been popular for over twenty years due to its ease of use. Ibanez is now pleased to announce that the AEG series has been updated in terms of electronics and aesthetics. The changes are based on the concept of "simplicity and ease of control."

It features a new preamp, the Ibanez AEQ-TTS. This small and simple preamp has only 2 controls: volume and shape, which allows for a natural acoustic sound in the center position. It also allows for easy sound adjustment, ranging from lower and fuller tones to higher and brighter ones with the action of a single control. A new and intuitive LCD tuner is built into the preamp itself.
