OVERVIEW OF THE SMART LAG HYVIBE 30 THV30ACE

The HyVibe 30 is the flagship series of Smart Lag guitars by Lag and features carefully selected woods based on their tonal and aesthetic characteristics. The THV30ACE is in an Auditorium Cutaway format, and features a solid Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top, while the back and sides are made of Bocote. The glossy finish enhances the wood grain, especially the Bocote which is prized for being highly figured. The HyVibe system expands the possibilities of these instruments, allowing them to amplify themselves, generate their own effects, or transform into a Bluetooth speaker.

The THV30ACE is rich in refined features, starting with the carefully selected woods based on their tonal and aesthetic characteristics. The top is made of solid Bearclaw Spruce, which shares the tone of Engelmann Spruce and expands it thanks to its greater stiffness. Together with the Bocote used for the back and sides, the THV30ACE results in a responsive guitar with a full and rich midrange, and remarkable sustain. The cutaway, slim neck profile, and Branko Wood (Blackwood) fingerboard make this instrument easy and pleasant to play. Finally, the HyVibe system increases the sonic possibilities of this guitar, thanks to the multi-effect processor, looper, Bluetooth, and other features manageable via the dedicated app.

THE HYVIBE SYSTEM

The system consists of a piezo sensor that picks up the vibration of the strings, sending the signal to the processor, which allows you to add effects, record loops, and much more. The processed signal, thanks to two actuators placed under the bridge that vibrate the soundboard, is amplified by the guitar body.

By connecting any Bluetooth device, the guitar acts as a speaker, allowing you to play along to a backing track or follow streaming lessons. With the integrated looper, you can create backing tracks and share them instantly, customizing the sound with the integrated effects processor (Reverb, Chorus, Echo, Phaser, Pitch Shifter, Distortion, Boost). The integrated tuner, metronome, and input jack that allows you to connect external devices are additional features that expand the possibilities of these instruments. With the dedicated app, you can adjust your effects, set loop duration, shape the sound with the 6-band equalizer, create presets, save your loops, and update the firmware.
