Headtune HT-U1 is a Clip-on tuner with a unique design, crafted to be securely attached to the headstock of your guitar (electric or acoustic), bass, or ukulele. It's extremely easy to use, suitable for beginners and professionals alike, thanks to KORG's legendary speed and accuracy in frequency detection. A bright LED indicator allows for pitch monitoring in any lighting condition and with a wide viewing angle.

Clip-on Tuner shaped like your instrument's headstock

Headtune was designed to match the typical headstock shape of guitars, basses, and ukuleles. When a single string is played, the built-in piezo pickup instantly detects its pitch. At this point, 2 types of LEDs illuminate: the first indicates the string and the position of the tuning peg to adjust, and the second indicates the string's current tuning. Its extremely easy use makes Headtune the ideal tool for beginners, as it allows tuning the instrument without having to remember the name of each string.

* The HT-U1, the ukulele model, also detects "Low-G tuning" with the fourth string: "G" (Sol), tuned an octave lower, thus supporting solo performances that cover a wider range of pitches.

* To check the string name, you can refer to the alphabetical character located next to the LED indicator for the strings themselves.

Compact and lightweight body, highly portable

Headtune has an extremely compact and lightweight body, which easily fits into the pocket of a guitar case and is truly effortless to transport.

Wide viewing angle and excellent LED brightness

The display angle can be adjusted up to a maximum of 120 degrees. The string indicator LEDs and the LED Meter offer high contrast and a wide viewing angle, always ensuring optimal readability even in dimly lit environments, and allowing tuning in a natural position.

Extremely stable clip that securely fastens the tuner to the headstock

Headtune uses the same extremely sturdy Clip found on Korg Pitchclip tuner series. This allows for quick, stable, and reliable attachment to the headstock of your guitar, bass, or ukulele.

The Auto Power-Off function extends battery life when the tuner is not in use.

Headtune uses a readily available lithium coin-cell battery (CR2032) for power, providing approximately 35 hours of use. The tuner features an automatic shut-off function, "Auto Power-Off," which automatically turns it off when no sound is detected for about ten minutes, thus preventing unnecessary battery drain.
