Inspired by the double-cut shape made famous by the Starfire IV, V, and VI, the Starfire I DC features a semi-hollow body with a mahogany center block to reduce feedback and provide excellent sustain. The Starfire I DC features an elegant arched mahogany top (with two F-holes), as well as a mahogany back and sides. The scale length is 24 3/4” (629 mm), and the mahogany neck has a modern slim “U” profile for excellent playability. The Premium Guild Vintage tuners have an 18:1 ratio, and the Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece ensures easy tuning and great intonation stability. A boost of vintage sound is guaranteed by the Guild HB-2 Alnico II humbuckers, and the push-pull allows you to split the pickup coils according to your needs. The binding and purfling are made of ABS, with a gloss Cherry Red polyurethane finish.
