The '70s Guild style is back and better than ever with the reissued S-100 solid-body. With its solid mahogany body and neck (Soft U Shape profile), Pau Ferro fretboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays and ivory ABS binding, bone nut (43 mm) and 629 mm scale length. The new S-100 Polara evokes its hard-rock ancestor from over 40 years ago, versatile, ready and essential with a tune-o-matic bridge and nickel tailpiece, and Grover tuners with an 18:1 ratio. The instrument's electronics include a pair of high-gain HB-1 pickups, an evolution of the successful LB-1 series, created to deliver a powerful, full-bodied sound suitable for various musical genres. The Guild S-100 pickguard is made of celluloid, and the finish is gloss polyurethane in Cherry Red. The great return of a true Guild classic.
