Gibson Les Paul Standard 60'S Plain Top Ebony

The Les Paul Standard '60 Plain Top Ebony Top features a mahogany body and maple top, adorned with a glossy lacquer finish and an Ebony color. A mahogany neck with a comfortable "Slim Taper" profile is glued to an Indian rosewood fretboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. The imitation mother-of-pearl (Acrylic Trapezoid) position markers facilitate orientation on the surface.

The instrument's sound is provided by two Burstbucker 60s humbuckers with Alnico V magnets. Their expressive tone references later PAF pickup models. The pickups are hand-soldered to volume and tone potentiometers and "orange drop" capacitors. The pickups can be switched by a three-position switch. Stable tuning is guaranteed by string mounting via the ABR 1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and via the Graphtech zero fret to Grover Rotomatics tuners. The elegant design of the instrument is accentuated by nickel hardware and a bright pickguard.
