This versatility has been faithfully recreated in every small detail by the Gibson Custom Shop team, but the novelty of this new line is the Murphy Lab finish: Tom Murphy, the Custom Shop's historical luthier, wanted to include his mastery in meticulously reproducing the natural signs of aging on nitrocellulose lacquer in this line of instruments. An extra detail that makes these instruments truly unique and capable of taking us back to 1957.
