An innovator and an undeniable influencer when it comes to effects-laden sounds, Kevin Shields awakened Fuzz tones in the 80s and 90s that the world had never heard before.

His favorite pedal is the Fender Blender, prized for its dynamic response and unmistakable Fuzz tone. Now, through over four years of co-development, Fender and Shields have resurrected this mythical 70s Fuzz, updating it with a host of contemporary features, creating the brand new Fender Shields Blender.

The Fender Shields Blender echoes the tone of Shields' vintage 70s Fender Blender, thanks to careful manual circuit tracing from his personal Fuzz Box.

Built around this vintage circuit are entirely new ways to control and blend the original fuzz voice, all crafted with performance in mind using four easy-to-use footswitches.

Two footswitchable Fuzz channels, each with dedicated Level controls, offer the ability to blend the Fuzz voice with the Clean signal or blend the Fuzz voice with a robust lower octave Fuzz, while the SAG footswitch introduces Sputtering and Ducking effects like never heard before.
