The Stratocaster® HSS Player II Modified is a classic model tailored for the modern performer. All neck features are designed for fluid and fast playability, starting from the Modern "C" profile, to the slick satin urethane back finish, and the one-piece slab rosewood or maple fingerboard, with a comfortable 9.5” (24.13 cm) radius and rolled edges, featuring 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body delivers classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of stunning new finishes. The Player II Modified humbucker sounds articulate with a high output level, while the Noiseless™ pickups ensure classic Strat® brilliance while eliminating unwanted noise. For even greater tonal flexibility, the push/pull switch on the second tone control "splits" the bridge humbucker for classic single-coil Strat® tones. The two-point anchored tremolo, short-post locking tuners, TUSQ® nut, and modern string tree work together to maintain incredibly stable tuning, while the wider range of the beveled tremolo block allows guitarists to achieve even more expressive and musical vibrato from their instrument.
