The Fender Custom Shop introduces the 1959 Journeyman Relic® Stratocaster®. The two-piece select alder body features Journeyman Relic® lacquer finishes in Super Faded Aged Shell Pink, Super Faded Aged Sonic Blue, Faded Aged Sea Foam Green, and Faded Aged Sherwood Green Metallic, for a look and feel of authentic aging, typical of a family instrument passed down through generations.

The classic late-decade finishes are present in every detail: the quartersawn maple neck with a '59-style "D" back profile and a flat-laminated rosewood fretboard enhance tone and playability. Equipped with three hand-wound Custom Shop Fat '50s Stratocaster® pickups, Vintage Modified #2 wiring, and a Tone-Save treble-bleed circuit, the sought-after golden-era tone is certainly not missing.

Other premium features include a 9.5" radius, 21 narrow-tall frets (6105), a 5-position selector switch, a 3-ply mint green pickguard, a Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuners, a bone nut, a wing string tree with tall metal spacer, a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
