The Vertus CS1000 is a true professional array that will satisfy musicians looking for a compact, easily transportable, modular PA system that is ready to use in minutes but with 'no-compromise' qualities. The Vertus CS1000 is a bi-amplified system consisting of a highly integrated birch plywood sub and satellite with a 600W RMS Subwoofer + 400W RMS Satellite amplifier and switching power supply.

The bass-reflex subwoofer cabinet features a 12'' long-excursion speaker, a two-channel Class-D amplifier module, and a compartment for both the satellite suspension pole and the satellite itself, which is locked into place with a push-button retention system during storage or transport.

The suspension pole consists of three modules screwed onto each other to allow both transport and adjustment of the satellite's height relative to the subwoofer. The connection between the pole and the satellite is made via a joint that allows vertical angling of the top, thus directing the high frequencies exactly into the desired listening area.

The birch plywood satellite is passive and connected to the sub via a supplied SPEAKON cable. It houses 6 x 3'' full-range neodymium extended-range speakers. The column's narrow width allows for a very wide dispersion of 110° in the horizontal plane. In the vertical plane, the array of 6 speakers mechanically arranged on the panel to form a J-array provides a vertical dispersion of 30° (+10° / -20°).

The system is designed to be modular; two systems can be coupled in a perfectly coherent manner to form a single system of double power. In this case, the two subwoofers are stacked, while the satellites are arranged one above the other (the top one inverted), using optional hardware. In this case, the maximum SPL increases by 6dB, the horizontal directivity remains unchanged, while the vertical directivity becomes 40° (+20° / -20°).

The subwoofer is equipped with an aluminum handle with a rubber insert for a comfortable grip, through which the entire system consisting of subwoofer, satellite, support poles, joint, and cabling can be transported for unparalleled convenience.

The fanless, die-cast aluminum amplifier module has two channels of 600W LF and 400W HF (1200W+800W PEAK) in high-efficiency Class-D with a switching power supply. Audio signal processing is entirely digital via DSP and very low-noise converters. Equipped with 8 equalization presets, it provides the appropriate sound for every operating condition. FBT's extensive experience with proprietary processing algorithms allows the system to deliver absolutely unexpected dynamics for systems of this size.

The satellite volume can be adjusted, relative to the subwoofer, from -4.5 to +5 in 8 steps. A selectable HPF filter allows cutting overly low frequencies from the subwoofer that might cause problems in certain conditions (resonant stages, acoustically difficult environments, etc.).
