It delivers uncompromised EVH high gain tone and features a <strong>BOOST</strong> control, a <strong>GAIN</strong> control, and a <strong>BASS SHIFT</strong> switch that selects the frequency cutoff managed by the BASS control.</h1><h2>OVERVIEW OF THE MXR EVHMHG EVH MODERN HIGH GAIN PEDAL</h2><p style="text-align: justify;">This pedal, the result of a collaboration between the <strong>MXR</strong> development team and <strong>Eddie Van Halen</strong> dating back to 2015, recreates the typical EVH high gain sound that characterized his career in pedal format. The <strong>OUTPUT</strong> and <strong>GAIN</strong> knobs allow balancing the output volume and saturation, enabling even the heaviest riffs to maintain definition. The <strong>BASS</strong>, <strong>MID</strong>, and <strong>TREBLE</strong> controls precisely shape the sound's character. The <strong>BOOST</strong> switch increases gain to make solos stand out. The <strong>55 Hz/80 Hz</strong> switch allows low frequencies to be made fuller or more incisive, choosing the bass cutoff managed by the BASS knob.
