Evans Genera Dry snare drum heads are single-ply heads with a thickness of 0.25 mil, equipped with a 0.05 mil muffle ring placed under the head, which vibrates to eliminate excessive overtones and control sustain.

The small holes along the perimeter of the head further reduce overtones and sustain.

14" white snare drum head made with a 0.25 mil ply.

This single-ply head perfectly combines with the full sound expansion of a double-ply.

The Dry version features holes along the perimeter that eliminate isolated overtones and make the sound drier.
