ESI introduces the new ESI planet 22x, a professional 2 In/2 Out Dante audio interface.The ESI planet 22x is a new and revolutionary audio card that combines the latest Dante protocol-based audio networking technology with the requirements of a professional desktop recording audio interface, for both studio and mobile applications.The audio interface features ultra-high quality 24-bit / 96kHz AD converters with 118dB(a) dynamic range and 24-bit / 96kHz DA converters with 123dB(a) dynamic range. The two balanced analog line inputs can also be used with the integrated ultra-low noise professional microphone preamplifiers and special Hi-Z instrument input stages. The balanced master line output can be controlled with a high-precision potentiometer. Additionally, it offers a high-quality amplified headphone output.The planet 22x can be powered either by the included 12V DC power adapter or by the network cable as a PoE (Power over Ethernet) device. This makes it possible to use the interface even when no power outlets are nearby.With Dante support, the planet 22x can be used with any other Dante device on an IP audio network, making it a very economical solution for adding audio channels to any existing network.
