When the buffer is active, it is always on, even if the pedal is in Bypass. When the buffer is off, the pedal is True Bypass. It also offers the flexibility to place the Bifet Boost anywhere in your effects chain. OFF at the beginning of the chain so as not to affect other pedals, ON at the end of the chain to counteract possible signal loss. Independent volume and tone controls. Up to 20 dB of boost.
