The DGT is PRS's David Grissom signature electric guitar, where DGT stands for "David Grissom Trem". This guitar features a patented PRS bridge capable of offering ergonomics and tuning stability, PRS Phase III Locking tuners that help make the guitar more resonant, and PRS DGT pickups suitable for rhythms and solos with a Texas-style voice. Birds inlays, McCarty Tobacco Sunburst finish.

OVERVIEW OF THE PRS DGT MCCARTY TOBACCO SUNBURST (BIRDS)

The DGT (David Grissom Trem) is the result of more than 20 years of collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom. The DGT is based on the McCarty platform but features a specially designed neck shape, taller frets, special pickups, and a revised control layout. Grissom and Paul spent more than a year comparing different pickups before achieving the vintage sounds offered by the DGT Humbuckers. The separate volume controls and the Push/Pull tone knob give this guitar versatility.
