The Custom 24 40th Anniversary is the electric guitar that celebrates four decades of PRS guitars. Produced in a limited edition of 400 units worldwide, this instrument combines traditional and modern features. It features a Mahogany back and neck, an Artist-Grade Maple top with a Retro Violin carve, "Old School Birds" inlays, and a "Pre-Factory" headstock logo. It boasts a Ziricote fretboard and the new DMO pickups. It comes with a PRS ATA Multi-Fit Case which includes a 40th Anniversary certificate. Tiger Eye finish.

PRS celebrates 40 years of electric guitar production with the PRS Custom 24 40th Anniversary, an instrument that blends traditional and modern specifications suitable for musicians and collectors. Produced in a limited edition of 400 units worldwide, this guitar is traditionally crafted with a Mahogany back and neck. The Artist-Grade Maple top features a Retro Violin carve, while the fretboard has "Old School Birds" inlays with outlines. The headstock features a logo with the iconic PRS eagle in a "Pre-Factory" version, paying homage to the early PRS guitars. In addition to these aesthetic features, the Custom 24 40th Anniversary is equipped with the new PRS DMO pickups, both at the bridge and neck. DMO stands for Dynamic, Musical, Open, attributes conferred by Paul Reed Smith, who designed these humbuckers with the engineering team to achieve an open sound with a vocal character. The bridge is a PRS Gen III, while the tuners are PRS Phase III locking tuners with Wing buttons, introduced with the 2024 Core models line. This limited edition features a Ziricote headstock veneer and fretboard, and comes with a PRS ATA Multi-Fit case with a hand-signed 40th Anniversary certificate inside. Tiger Eye finish.
