Cre8audio Mr. Phil Ter

The Cre8audio Mr. Phil Ter combined module was developed in collaboration with Pittsburgh Modular and combines filter, VCA, and envelope in one unit.

Thanks to normalized connections, the module can be used with a minimum of patch cables, but the three functions can also be used independently.

The 24dB low-pass filter is based on a transistor ladder, which is conceptually the classic Moog filter. The VCA is designed for audio signals and is controlled by the internal envelope or an external CV.

The envelope has two CV outputs that generate two different time ranges in parallel (Slow/Fast). Additionally, the envelope has a "hidden" feature: it can quantize to 7 bits and generate sample & hold type control voltages.
