The CM95 Clyde McCoy Signature Cry Baby® Wah is a Clyde McCoy signature wah pedal from Jim Dunlop, capable of delivering the sound of the original wah thanks to the Halo™ inductor.

OVERVIEW

The Clyde McCoy Cry Baby Wah is a tribute to the first wah ever produced. This modernized classic recreates the guttural, expressive voice of the original, providing players with the durability and reliability they need on their journeys.

The Dunlop design team drew from decades of wah pedal design and construction to ensure that the CM95 faithfully represents the tone and spirit of the very first model. Years ago, Dunlop inherited from the Thomas Organ Company and Jen Electronica the original tooling and machinery used to design and build the first Clyde McCoy pedals. Combining these resources with Dunlop's over 30 years of experience in making wahs, the pedal that best honors the original Clyde McCoy was created.

The most important feature of a wah is its voice. The Thomas Organ Company and Jen Electronica used a special component called the Halo Inductor to give the original Clyde McCoy pedals that highly sought-after sound. However, due to how they were built, those inductors added microphonic noise. Dunlop engineers created the Dunlop HI01 Halo Inductor to solve this problem, improving its characteristics to preserve the original sound without adding noise. The rest of the CM95 circuit is faithful to the original, housed in a classic body with premium components.

This pedal can be powered by two 9-volt batteries or an AC adapter, such as the Dunlop ECB003, Iso-Brick, or Mini Iso-Brick (not included).
