What can I do with the RC-1?

And that new loop indicator? Just a pretty trinket?
NO! It's certainly nice to look at, but the new loop indicator is very innovative and useful! It clearly shows the current pedal status (Rec/Overdub/Play). You can also use it to provide visual feedback on the loop length; each turn will correspond to a loop.

Why stereo inputs and outputs?
Apparently, some other manufacturers assume that mono recording is sufficient for everyone. But nowadays, here at Boss, we believe that a true looper MUST be stereo! With stereo inputs and outputs, you can record in the way all music is written, played, and reproduced.

Why an external footswitch?
The optional FS-7 footswitch makes using an external pedal even easier! It's compact, so it won't take up much space on your pedalboard. Pressing the "A" pedal will stop Rec/Overdub/Play. Holding it down for more than two seconds will delete the phrase mode. By pressing the "B" pedal, you can use the very useful undo and redo functions.
