Inspired by the popular Ultra X series, the Denis Wick 4880E-SM3UH Ultra Heros mouthpiece was developed with input from renowned euphonium player Steven Mead. This updated version features a modified rim contour and inner rim for increased comfort and control. Additionally, the new curve at the base of the cup and the modified backbore optimize airflow, improve tonal consistency, and facilitate effortless articulation. The Large V-Type backbore ensures superior projection, making it ideal for performers who desire a rich and powerful sound.
