<p>The Shure Beta 91A pressure zone microphone, with a condenser capsule and a semi-cardioid polar pickup pattern, is designed for use with kick drums, pianos, and other traditional applications that require excellent pickup of low-frequency rich sources. An integrated preamplifier and an XLR connector facilitate installation and minimize bulk. The Beta 91A model combines optimal attack and "punch" with studio-quality, even at very high sound pressure levels (SPL).
