Sound and design in the style of the classic 2600 synthesizer. Behringer's 2600 analog synthesizer is inspired by the legendary vintage synth and delivers the same sonic character that made the original so famous.

The Behringer 2600 is a contemporary reproduction of the classic synthesizer. The instrument was developed in collaboration with engineer Rob Keeble and delivers the sound of the original.

The Behringer 2600 stays true to the historic design, but uses modern technology to make it suitable for today's studios.

This was achieved by combining the original circuit design with newer modular versions, so that the synthesizer produces the sound of the legendary original with a modern character.

The Behringer 2600 uses two types of filters: the classic ladder filter from earlier versions and a more resonant, punchy filter found in later synthesizer designs. The 2600 features three VCOs, an envelope follower and ring modulator.

In addition, the synthesizer includes a versatile VCA section, an integrated voltage processor and a sample & hold section for experimental and advanced sound design.
