The new Arturia MicroFreak hybrid synthesizer combines digital oscillators with analog filters and features a capacitive keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch. This small but powerful synth also offers all the versatility of wavetable synthesis to create interesting new sounds with extreme ease. Modes like Texturer, KarplusStrong, Harmonic OSC, and Superwave offer musicians the ability to explore totally new and unprecedented creative possibilities.Perfect for both young musicians and experienced professionals, MicroFreak's powerful and flexible synthesis engine features physical modeling, wavetable, and virtual analog synthesis. The MicroFreak's filter is based on the 12 dB Oberheim SEM filter, is state-variable, and also includes self-oscillation. There are no limits to filter management; you can automate the cutoff by modulating it with keyboard pressure and the built-in sequencer, but also use it to best emphasize the sounds generated by wavetable synthesis. Record up to four automations, edit notes step by step, or use the sequencer's innovative Spice and Dice functions. Add randomization to create original evolving patterns and virtually re-wire and reconfigure the signal chain and controls with the 5x7 modulation matrix.
