The MD66ce is beautiful and powerful, yet understated, with clean lines and minimal ornamentation. This design allows the solid African mahogany top to be the star, under a flawless gloss finish. This guitar is everything you would expect from a solid mahogany body Dreadnought. It was designed to deliver a loud and articulate sound, instant response, and a more open projection than is normally associated with hardwood tops. The bass frequencies are clear and robust, and the mahogany provides strong, woody tones with plenty of mid-range and energy. This cutaway model allows easy access to the neck and is equipped with LR Baggs' HiFi system.
