The AC15CH Custom Head is Vox's electric guitar amplifier head, based on the classic VOX AC15 electric guitar combo amplifier. It features 2 channels, Normal and Top Boost, equipped with 2 EL-84 tubes, delivers 15 Watts RMS, and offers controls for Master Volume, Master Tone Cut, Normal Volume, Top Boost Volume, Top Boost Bass, Top Boost Treble, Reverb Tone, Reverb Level, Tremolo Speed, and Tremolo Depth. Thanks to the Reactive Attenuator, every nuance of the sound can be maintained at any volume.

OVERVIEW OF THE VOX AC15CH HEAD

Just like the AC15C1 Custom amplifier, the AC15CH head is equipped with an EL84 tube. The V212C cabinet completes the package with its 2 x 12" Celestion G12M Greenback speakers, providing the classic British tone. The two channels, Normal and Top Boost, have dedicated volume controls, and the Top Boost channel features adjustable Treble and Bass. The Master section has the distinctive Tone Cut control and Master Volume, allowing for a wide variety of sounds, from sparkling cleans to raw and powerful overdrives. The Vox Tremolo and spring Reverb from the Custom series are also present in the AC15CH head. These effects can be enabled or disabled using the optional VOX VFS2A Footswitch pedal.

WHAT IS THE REACTIVE ATTENUATOR?

It is an attenuator that uses VOX's Reactor technology, which optimizes the interaction between the speaker and the amplifier at any volume. This allows the speaker and amplifier to perform at their best both on stage and in the bedroom, providing a sense of power and control that cannot be achieved with other attenuators.
