Sugar Charango strings offer a particularly bright and powerful sound. To achieve perfect tuning stability within a few minutes, it is recommended to pull each individual string at the twelfth fret during the tuning phase. Only stop when the string does not drop further in frequency.

Warning: Similar to gut, Sugar is a material sensitive to cutting. Before mounting the strings, make sure that the grooves at the nut and bridge are shallow, perfectly smooth, and free of sharp edges. Otherwise, use 600-grit sandpaper or fine-grain steel wool. Do not use the strings on instruments with a vibrating length greater than 36.8 cm.
