This limited edition Zildjian 400th Anniversary design pays homage to the company's relocation from Turkey to the United States in the early 1920s. Avedis III, the only surviving man in the direct line of succession, left Turkey due to the increasing oppression of the Armenian people, becoming an American citizen. This led to the official relocation of operations to Quincy, Massachusetts in 1929. To honor this crucial moment in our history and pay tribute to our Armenian heritage, we have created a design that is equally dark and beautiful, inspired by Turkish design elements often seen in tiles and carpets from the same era.
