The YAS/YTS-480 saxophones are a step up. With a little more resistance, they have an authoritative sound and great flexibility thanks to the presence and position of the separate key guards.

Ergonomics, playability, and excellent intonation are exactly what you would expect from a Yamaha instrument.

Based on the popular YAS/YTS-475 models, the new YAS/YTS-480 saxophones feature an improved low B-C# key connection for better adjustment, while the new neck receiver system (like the 62 series) allows the use of Custom necks.

The hand-engraved bell adds a touch of class.

The redesigned neck receiver offers the player the choice between the 62-style neck (included) and those designed for the Yamaha Custom Z and Custom EX saxophone series (sold separately).

The improved low B-C# key mechanism ensures correct closure of the low C# key and allows for a clear response of notes in the low register.

The neck has been redesigned to ensure improved sound and response.

The separate key guard features adjustable screw stops for professional adjustment.
