John Patitucci Signature Model

It's been about 20 years since John Patitucci, who rose to fame as a member of the legendary Chick Corea Electric Band, established himself as one of the best jazz bassists of his time. Continuously moving from bandleader to esteemed accompanist, John relies on his 6-string TRB JP2 signature bass for any role.

Custom TRBJPII pickups

The pickups are a custom Alnico V design. The low-noise double-coil pickups provide a clear sound image even when playing chords.

Solid brass bridge

A solid brass bridge offers a clear and rich tone.

4-ply laminated body

The 4-ply laminated body is made with layers of figured maple, ash, alder, and more maple. This design allows for the production of a tight and rich resonance across the entire range of the instrument. A slap cut facilitates access to the strings.

26-fret neck

The extra-long 35" (889 mm) scale neck features 26 frets. The maple neck is secured with double truss rods to sufficiently counteract the tension produced by the instrument's six strings.

Active electronics

The 5-control active electronics offer a wide range of tonal variations. Everything is possible, from subtle variations in sound nuance to dynamic sound output.
