Compared to their predecessors, the P-225 and P-145 have a much shorter and thinner body design with a compact style. These models look good from any angle and enhance any room. To achieve a smaller product footprint, we developed the new GHC (Graded Hammer Compact) keyboard (88 keys), which is built to uncompromising standards and offers the same playing feel as an acoustic piano with GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) weighted keys used in previous P Series models.

Furthermore, the P-225 features the sounds of Yamaha's top-of-the-line concert grand piano, the CFX. This model uses Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) Lite technology to replicate the expressive changes typical of a real grand piano.
